Meet your lead Endoscopist
Eric Curkan, M.S., CCC-SLP
Owner and Chief Endoscopist, Eric Curkan M.S. CCC-SLP holds a certificate in clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). He is a graduate of The University of Washington with a Master’s of Science degree in Medical Speech-Language Pathology and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Communication Science & Disorders from Florida State University.
With nearly ten years of clinical experience, Eric has exclusively focused on adult medical speech pathology settings including skilled nursing, long-term care, inpatient rehabilitation, and acute hospital settings. His clinical passion is treating patients with dysphagia, with a focus on neurological disorders including stroke, brain injury, Parkinson's, and other progressive neurological diseases.
He launched his career at Brooks Rehabilitation, treating the top 1% most medically complex neurologically impaired patients in the United States.
He is clinically competent in delivering high quality, patient-centered dysphagia evaluations and treatments, including Fiberoptic Endoscope Evaluations of Swallowing (FEES).
